Chapter Twelve

There was only one cure. When Cam felt like he couldn't breathe, that his frustrations had gotten so big and so out of control that he couldn't even swallow … only one thing ever worked.

Cam's eyes burned into the oak log in front of him. He dug his feet into the dirt and brought the ten-pound maul over his head.

“Stupid idiot!” Thwack.

“Should've known.” Thwack.

“The fuck were you thinking?” Thwack.

So what was he thinking? When he went into his old bedroom to search for Tiger Balm, he knew he'd left it in his nightstand drawer. When he saw that his drawer's secret lock had already been jimmied open, his heart pounded. When he opened the drawer and saw his FleshLight was missing … he really panicked.

But that's when he peeped under the bedsheets. And he found his FleshLight. And it had been used. Like Kevin had actually lubed up his personal sex-toy and fucked it. Both their dicks, hard and pumping in and out of the same toy. Damn, that was dirty. Filthy even – but all kinds of hot. I wonder if he came in it? Cam had thought as he inspected the scene.

And then he spotted his journal under the sheets, too. Oh, shit, he'd thought. Now Kevin knows everything.

And then he added the two together. If Kevin knew he was gay, and he still used his FleshLight, then maybe Kevin was curious, too?

But he'd never meant to just kiss him like that. But with the bourbon doing his thinking for him … and rubbing muscle cream all over Kevin's young, firm body … that mouth-watering trail of cute peach-fuzz hairs running down his navel … his orgasmic moans and sighs as he got massaged …

Cam readied another log to split.

“How are you gonna look at that guy now?” Thwack.

“How is he gonna look at you?” Thwack.

“God only knows what the team will do if they find out.” Thwack.

Kevin had to hit these trunk-sized logs 5 or 6 times before he could get them to start splintering and flake off … but Cam was stronger, more experienced. With his size, his strength – and his anger – he made it look easy. The heavy hammer sliced through the oak like a hot knife through butter, breaking off perfect wedge-shaped pieces of firewood.

He bent over and picked up the split pieces and angrily tossed them into the garage without even looking to see where they'd land. “You fuckin' moron, Cam.”

But the logs landed at the feet of his Mom, standing at the edge of the garage in her nightgown. She jumped, the wood slamming the ground where her toes had just been a second ago. “Cam! Be careful!”

His stomach turned with guilt immediately and the anger instantly melted from his eyes. “Shit, Mom, I'm sorry! I didn't know you were there. Ugh.”

“Did you think I wouldn't come see what all this noise was?” Silent, Cam shrugged. “So why are you splitting wood at midnight, Cam?”

“I felt like it.” Cam turned his head and spit.
